David has for decades worked for many children’s charities and their causes as a volunteer camp counselor, mentor, reading tutor, event organizer, and fundraiser.
David has also practiced as a trial lawyer for thirty years, typically advocating for the “little guy (or gal)” facing long odds seeking to right a wrong for the harms and losses they endured. He has represented the families of many children who required long term medical care and other special needs.
David has served in numerous leadership roles within his local and statewide legal communities. He brings to Toughest Kids the same passion and integrity exhibited throughout his legal career. Before joining the TKI Board, he served as its general counsel.
David and his wife, Laurie (also a TKI Board Member), have two daughters for whom they hope to instill the same sense of purpose and community involvement.
